Your first paragraph introduces your paper, your research and organization.  It is mostly a summery of main points.  Initiate by organizing all the data that you want to reveal first off.  Arrange the material by briefly summarizing all the relevant details in a sequential order.   Explain what commonalities the themes or traits in the researched material share.  Of course show the relevance in your citations and credit each source separately and accordingly.   Remember to use the quotation key before and after a quote to clearly show that these original words do not belong to you.  Provide title(s) of the source(s) and the name of the original author(s), location of where it each source was first published and if they were republished –where etc…  Give a brief description of the author and an exact location of where that information could be retrieved.  The specifics on citing for synthesis vary depending on the preference of your instructor so review all your directives carefully and proceed accordingly.

…Health Canada has a Tobacco Control Program that provides supportive information to assist individuals on the journey to quit using tobacco products.  Since the year 2000, they have been issuing warning labels directly on cigarette packages as a strategy to make Canadians aware of the risks involved when individuals choose to smoke.  The first country in the world to issue warnings on cigarette packs was Canada.  “Tobacco Control program (TCP) monitors and analyses change in tobacco consumption patterns, public attitudes, retailer behavior and youth access restriction, industry practices and the product in support of TCP’s programs and mandate.” (Health Canada Website.)

If you plan to get your GED, the test is equipped with one part you may not be so fond of –the essay.  You’ll have 45 minutes to complete the GED essay on what will most likely be an assigned topic.  The person with the red pen (holding the marking powers that be to give you that A or D+) is looking for a well thought out map of how you process thought.

Organize your sources.  Categorize everything to the last inch it was retrieved from, credit all the sources accordingly and the more sources you have that say the same thing –the better.  This step is to prove that you did your homework that you know your stuff and it is sure to stick you at the top of your game.  You need to sell and show the readers that you’ve went that extra mile and that you are an expert in the subject.  More to the point: get all those ducks in a row and never put your eggs in only one basket.  This part of the researching process might take some time, but it will be well worth it in the end.  It’s like planting a seed the reward comes quite late in the process.

Justifying, defending and accuracy could be the lead intentions for methodology writing.  Your method needs to suit your objectives and stay on task focusing on the “cause and effect” with the use of rationales for specific problems.  Think back –you’ve had the perfect opportunities in school to evaluate cause and effect in prior grades when you learned about:

Your instructor would have given you directives on how specifically he/she expects you to write your methodology.  There are different measures to take when writing your method, you must consider which sort and style is expected of you.  Most methods apply a similar approach and I can give you a generalized structure, but seek additional help from your instructor or text:

Let me tell you a few things about my guys, they spends 24 hours a day on call devoted to their clients.  Never will they kiss and tell because confidentiality is a primary focus.  They guarantee satisfaction to each individual case as well as 100% original papers.  Say you were to ask them to write your essay or term paper for you (write anything you name it) your paper would be written within your deadline, in proper grammar, with the right mix of words, in proper tense and format.  They’d even make sure you were pleased with the product and revise it with you 100% FREE.  My guys will write with respect to your research topic and even take your advice, because after all it is your paper. You my friend could check up on your essay in the making any time you wanted while concentrating on your other important academic endeavors.  If you didn’t like the product instead of considering your money burnt, you’d be reimbursed to the very last cent.  Now I bet you want to know more about my affiliates…and you will.

So you dug in the dirt, spied on the enemy, learned all that you could and you are the specialist of your topic… What’s next?  Now you’re ready to formulate your thesis.  Giving your synthesis paper a purpose and directing all the attention to the fact that no one has yet addressed the problem(s) that you’ve uncovered is a great approach to start the foundation of your thesis.  You could argue a touch, push a bit, and compare a smidgen –look up the tips for argumentative, comparison, opinionated and persuasive essays some of those writing techniques can be applied in your synthesis essay at this point.  Once you’ve figured out your thesis, purpose and approach begin your paper.

Your before-last-paragraph should bombard the reader with more points relevant to your cause and position.  Don’t play between theories, use facts and continue in the same flow –all positive or all negative just keep shooting round after round.  Use strong sentences with aggressive determinations (don’t worry about sounding arrogant) your sentences are not required to be well-rounded, just well constructed for abbreviated streams.  Clearly state the similarities or differences between the sources with the goal of informing readers.  If your synthesis essay is about child rearing now would be the time to toss around all those accusations of where parents display inadequacies (or play the other side of that coin,) but be consistent.  In your own words restate what the source says and clearly affirm which sources you are referring to every time.  Use words like: furthermore, moreover, once again, in addition, likewise, additionally and equally so.

Whenever you sit in front of a blank page or computer screen, you should thrive to make your paper’s appearance professional and authoritative. Rule of thumb for every writing scheme, attractiveness plays a major role in the grade you’re going to receive. I’m going to take a minute to educate you on attractiveness for many types of essays. Significant data assists the reader to evaluate the validity of your closing statement(s).  Shared experiences allow the possibility of simple deductions to be made.  Knowing how the information was collected helps all types of people to estimate the reliability of your results and the conclusions you drew from them.  For example, if you used a questionnaire to obtain your result the reader needs to be assured that the respondents had plenty of answers to choose from.  Another considerable detail would be to make known that there was sufficient space to insert negative responses.

Connect the dots by showing the reader how the thesis aligns with the subject matter.  This is the part of the synthesis essay where you will repeat significant statements in point form and justify your position.  Express your accuracy and if by doing so you reuse a quote credit the source.  Once again, inform the reader of a mater of the topic in a way that you haven’t already used by identifying with your sound thesis.  Show your proof by displaying whatever spread sheet you were using except this time it would be appropriate to have several copies to pass around.  If in doubt, feel free to snoop around .com offers a helping hand if you need one.

Always credit the source and your first insertion should always come from number one: first hand knowledge followed by two, three then four…see the numerical sequence?  Try not to adopt other people’s point of view, clearly state and separate your view from the others.  You want to be the morning pick of the batch, fresh and new.  Don’t commit treason to the writer’s code of honor -plagiarism is a sin punishable to Azkaban for rotten writers.  If you need help .com employs professional writers who can create a custom paper just for you!  Check their site they might have additional answers to the question of the hour “how to write a term paper?

(In bold/caps) WEBSITES AND OTHER MEDIA:

When choosing a meticulous procedure, you must be able to justify your selection.  Methodology writing is a progression.  Your first paragraph should establish the research topic and thesis also providing explicit details to accompany your findings.  The reader should be informed of the primary objectives you plan to put into action.  Proceed to include your hypothesis and opinions in the form of step by step instructions on how you intend to obtain the information for your method.

APA writing is mainly used in psychology and sociology.  This writing style is one of several types of essay formats, APA’s formatting guidelines just as specific in nature are as follow:

Accuracy is of utmost importance. You need to be able to decipher and translate in your own words exactly what information you plan to convey in your essay. The same principal of relaying information occurs in your every day life. If your friend called you up one Saturday morning to tell you that his mom’s car was acting up, she wanted you to take a look at it while he ran over to the laundry mat, you wouldn’t relay that information to your rents as “Jerry’s mom’s car is acting up, she wants me to wash it so I’m going to go and take it to the laundry mat.”

The end result is your conclusions specific to the effect of the solution as well as what was learned and achieved from the result.  For clarity of intention, your methodology conclusion should answer the following three questions:

Methodology writing assigns two main purposes; serving to describe how the data was collected or fabricated and how was it investigated.  This type of writing explains how the method influences the end result. The word “method” would be a more accurate word to use in reference to methodology as the manner employs a systematic study of procedures, practices analysis of the methods and is produced within an amount of discipline subjected to methodology writing.  Your method should also consist of a detailed record of steps taken to prevent anticipated problems discussed in the paper.  Careful research and significant straws of information will provide evidence to conclude your methodology, similar to essay writing.

Good essay’s flow in such a way that the words can just roll of the tip of your tongue. Good essays contain good language rules and good sentence structures. Use a dictionary for correct terminology and proper verbs. Ensure that your research and findings are accurate. Load it up with examples and samples for the reader’s benefit. Avoid mismatched terms and expressions, stay in the same tense and make sure your grammar is correct.  Use strong vocabulary that expresses exactly what you are trying to say.  Make bold statements that stick in a person’s mind and run circles with the hamster in there.  Commit this to memory: awkward wording will have you stumble and trip over your own words!

…Of the non-smoking populace, 36% can be considered potential smokers.  “Six in ten Canadian adults (59%) report having smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their life.  Almost all adult smokers (99%) say the same.  Four in ten non-smokers (41%) also report having smoked at least 100 cigarettes in their life.”  (Health Canada Website.)

Or you might be asked to compare topics in the form of a comparative essay:

(In bold/caps) ARTICLE:

What type of GED essay topic will you write? Well, essays of a personal nature might appear on the test.  Usually you will have a few to choose from…

Your main body paragraphs should focus on introducing two well known principals “problem(s) meet solution(s)” at the same time, explaining how this data was collected in sequence starting with smaller to larger-scale problems.  Supply the reader with all the Intel you uncovered and proceed to explain your sources.  Amplification of how problems were analyzed defines cause and effect which logically corresponds to their solutions.

Final Report prepared by: Environics Research Group Limited, February 2001,

“…monitoring dangerous internet sites is a major parental role.  Your parents won’t throw you off a bridge, feed you poison or abandon you in the woods so why would you find it odd if they blocked dangerous websites? When your dad is sitting on the couch watching TV he makes sure that you’re not watching R-rated programs, just like the television that you have in your bedroom probably restricts certain channels.  Without parental controls on the internet, it would be a little more difficult for a parent to monitor their child’s range of access.  Accessing any site is easier than making a child’s lunch for school.  Protecting the interests of a child or youth and preventing them from downloading, serfing and corresponding to web content is a parent’s legal right…”

Here are some Examples:

I am aware that we’ve covered citation and credit already, but I’m going to actually do it.  Here’s a confession…in school this was a sort of weakness for me, but through practice I finally threw that ball way out of the court and nailed it.  I understand that schools are more than particular when it comes to style and format so I suggest completing all your endeavors according to “the plan.”  Cite your paper exactly how you are expected.

…In many instances, they trust that the employer will not introduce them to dangerous tasks.  Neil Davis, retired Peel teacher says “They trust their mom and dad, their teacher.  They transfer that rust to their employer, and that is where things break down because the employer doesn’t have the stake in the young person’s life and welfare that the teacher does.” (Bahr 169 – 172, pg.7)

A few starter sentences of a good essay example to follow:

This is how to cite a paper.  Note above that all citations are in quotations and the source of the information is in brackets beside all quotes because the information was retrieved from a website.  Okay, next:

Both these types of essay formats require students to produce a reference page accompanied by their essay.  The end of your piece must include a citation list and reference page where you will have to provide the sources in a similar form as a bibliography.  List the author’s name and citation and be sure to include the exact location the information can be retrieved from.  APA format requires students to proceed to write exactly what the author says followed by the paraphrased interpretation concluded by the student.

A specific point of view as well as sufficient examples are necessary when you write.  A well constructed essay contains an unwavering opinion, a strong thesis, a clear point of view, a complete understanding of the topic, three facts to correspond and support the topic and an appropriate to-the-point conclusion that restates your thesis.

Methodology writing is:

Fact:

Most GED essay topics are on subjects you will have knowledge of and you might already have a thesis formed deep within the crevasses of the back of your mind somewhere.   They want to see an informational, well thought out, well organized and well composed essay –is that well enough for you?

Impersonal GED essay topics might also appear.  If this is the case, you will either be given study material on the possible topic(s) or you will have some understanding of them.  These topics are mainly designed to test your knowledge and to see how well you retain information and process it. You may be asked to write essays along these lines:

Have you been dragging your feet, struggling with your homework, hemming and hawing over that essay thinking “what on earth will you write about?”  Welcome to reality, I hear the added touch of irony with a hint of slap-in-face is their best served cold dish! Lucky for you modern day society member, there are exits and comfortable seats reserved for the wise.  Choosing a custom essay writing services can take a rather large load off, unless you didn’t choose wisely.

You’ve counted your fingers, your toes, the stars and sheep to no end…tapped your fingers on the edge of your desk, chewed the end off your pencil and drew all over yourself in pen… You need an epiphany, a purpose, a plan, a design and God willing a light at the end of the tunnel.  Choosing that interesting research topic that’s just right can cause a lot of grief.  You might as well just climb a ladder and jump off a roof if you choose a topic that doesn’t interest you.  Think about all the hours you’re going to log on this assignment’s ins and outs…you’ll be expected to be a specialist on the subject, knowing the topic’s strengths and weaknesses. If you just spend this kind of time on something you might rather enjoy to learn more about or expand on what you already know, you’ll be rewarded ten-fold.  Just be mindful that citation and credit is a fundamental piece of the puzzle for all types of writing.

“…there would be a gut-wrenching, awful sentiment for any mature person to watch or see a youth pick up a cigarette and smoke it. Children shouldn’t smoke, but a parent smoking in an unventalated area with a child present goes unnoticed.  What’s the difference between a baby or todler being stuck in a car with all the windows drawn up and mommy or daddy lights up one of those cancer-sticks from having that todler light one up himself?”
